Summer Apprenticeship Program

The Summer Apprenticeship Program (SAP) at the Ely Center of Contemporary Art pairs New Haven high school students with professional artists for an immersive, three-week summer experience. During this collaborative program, students work closely to create a collective group project that is later showcased in a public exhibition at the Ely Center. Through creative collaboration, mentorship, and exhibition opportunities, the program fosters artistic growth, builds community, and empowers the next generation of artists.
