ECoCA is excited to announce Open Call 2018/19. Artists of all backgrounds and working across disciplines are invited to submit their work for consideration in the 2018 – 2019 programming, including online, solo, and group exhibitions, September pop-up shows, off-site exhibitions at the Whitney Center, and work-space within the Project Room. Artists selected will be reviewed by ECoCA curators and featured on social media.

The Ely Center of Contemporary Art is based in New Haven, CT. Our mission is to reaffirm the testamentary wishes of Grace T. Ely, who left the Elizabethan building in Trust as an art center for emerging practice in contemporary art. We strive for ECoCA to be a synergistic charge for the expression, engagement, and germination of culture makers and their audiences by fostering a vibrant, just, and healthy creative community for generations to come.
