In this workshop, local videographer Jay Miles will share his Top Tips for short format video. From promo clips, to artist statements, to studio tour videos and beyond, come learn the biggest do’s and don'ts for completing videos that can bolster your work, your career, and your online presence. Learn camera solutions and framings, VO tricks, lighting essentials, and editing basics. See how to mix up your shots, minimize background noise, eliminate unwanted shadows, and how to add titles and still images into your videos. This session will include both demonstrations, tips for using traditional cameras or cellphones, and workshop time for starting your video(s)! Newcomers to the world of video are welcome.
