Intro to Bioplastics with artist Janine Brown

$0.00

Local CT artist Janine Brown will teach a one day introductory workshop on bioplastics. The recipes she uses can be made in the comfort of your own kitchen and are safe for the environment, using plant based materials. You will leave this workshop having the resources to explore these materials further on your own!

Brown will discuss the elements of a natural bioplastic (polymer, plasticizer, water) and demonstrate 2 types of bioplastic - one starch-based and the other algae-based.

Every participant will select a recipe to create their own bioplastic vessels.

Sunday, June 2, 1-4 pm

This workshop is limited to 10, purchasing this free event will count as your RSVP.

All materials supplied.
