This is an evening of unconventional sounds and visuals as we present 'Weird Music Night Again,' featuring a captivating short film by Robert Zott, ambient music by Bill Beckett, experimental violin, and circuit-bent toys by Skull Tower 4E.

Robert Zott: is a computer music composer and theorist whose CD entitled "Sonic Simulations" (1990) was among the first to be generated and recorded entirely with digital technology. His music is presented in the form of “video storybooks” created mostly of still images that illuminate the stories within each work.

Bill Beckett: is a multi-instrumentalist who lives in the New Haven, CT, area. He has been composing ambient/instrumental music since 2007. His influences include Miles Davis, Joni Mitchell, Wayne Shorter, Purcell, Debussy, Satie, Ravel, Prokofiev, Sibelius, Kurosawa, Fellini, Jim Jarmusch, and John Fahey.

Skull Tower: 4E is an experimental sound project developed by collaborating visual artists John O’Donnell and Peter Fulop. Their approach is gestural and guided by spontaneous composition, responding to the visuals of silent film. Using violin, guitar, circuit-bent toys, and analog tape loops, they find blends of melody and texture to develop soundscapes populated by glitches.

Pervert Savant is an anonymous performance artist who has created pieces at many institutions across the country. Most recently, they performed at the Diverse Universe Performance Festival in Parnu, Estonia, and the QiPO Art Fair in Mexico City.
