ECOCA staff member and artist Aimée Burg present a stop motion workshop for all ages to engage with the show eMotion which explores sequential art in its many forms (books, comics and moving image.)
Learn to use every day materials to create you own sequential story. Stop Motion is a form of animation that brings inanimate materials to life with the use of a camera and many tiny movements!
The collection of videos created will be showcased online and at the front desk for the rest of the eMotion exhibition.
This workshop is free and open to all. This a drop-in event, stop in between the times of 12-3 pm. There will be a light snack provided.
Here you can watch the 30 animations created during our Stop Motion Animation Workshop at ECOCA on October 1, 2023
A special thanks to EcoWorks for providing loose parts materials for the workshop. EcoWorks is a creative reuse center located in North Haven, CT.
