Join the Ely Center of Contemporary Art for the opening reception of our latest show, #UNLOAD: Pick Up the Pieces.

#UNLOAD: Pick Up the Pieces is an unjuried, inclusive, community-driven exhibition that explores issues surrounding gun control laws and the impact of guns on society. The exhibition and events aim to raise questions regarding violence, safety, gender, equality, and the influence of media on violence and mental health stigmas.

The reception will be Thursday, October 11, 5-8 PM. 

Opening remarks at 5:30 by Helen During and Mary Himes, co-founders of Unload USA.

Draft beers provided by Black Hog Brewing. Finger sandwiches provided by Zoi’s. Baked goods provided by Katalina’s.

That Dana Game will dj throughout the event.

This event is free and open to the public.
