In each of our lifetimes, time is our canvas. We create with every action no matter how great or small. Musical Tea for Us invites us to reconnect through our daily objects, our quotidien actions, and with all which exists around us. By elevating our select actions with sound, my experiences allow viewers to be the conductors of every moment. By allowing viewers to take the agency of choice, my art is an attempt to remind us of our inherent abilities to initiate connection. I hope every interaction becomes a memory that echos in our future communal moments where we can remember to offer a hand to those around us and share.

A poet, artist, engineer and lifelong community builder, Yin Mei embraces her life as the medium through which to create and share meaningful experiences in her impermanent time on this planet. Her craft enables her ability to generate lasting change, and her words highlight her suggestions for changes of perspective.
