As one of her first projects, Aimée will curate a fall pilot “Keyhole Residency” to activate the top floor of the Ely House as workspaces for artists. This pilot will help Ely Center better understand the needs of artists working in the building, and how it can support a residency program that is rewarding and transformative. An exhibition of the work produced during the residencies will open in late November. Please join us on September 10th for the opening of the fall season at the Ely Center to meet Aimée, along with new Board Members. The exhibition eMotion features fresh takes on illustration, sequential narratives, and video and is curated by Arts Workforce Initiative Fellow Rebekah Church, and Yale President Public Service Fellow Xinyi Liu. A reception takes place 3-5pm.
