The GREAT GIVE fundraising event is here! Some of you have already donated and we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts! If you have not donated yet, we humbly ask that you help us meet our goal of $7,500 during this Great Give Fundraising event! Every donation goes directly to supporting our programming. Programs like our inaugural Summer Apprenticeship Program, where New Haven Public High School students will work with artist Destiny Palmer to create a work of public art. In addition to the group project, individual studio time is available to those who want it, with guidance from Palmer and staff. Each participating student will get a stipend once the program is completed. And our Keyhole Workspace Residency, where we offer free studio space and an exhibition to local artists. Each artist in this program also gets a stipend for materials. Supporting us in the Great Give allows us to directly support artists and our community. What is the Great Give? For 36 hours on May 1st and 2nd The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven hosts an online fundraising platform for local non-profits. How do I donate? Go to our page HERE or one of our patron’s pages! How else can I help? Share this with your networks! Tell your friends why ECOCA is important to you! What’s the best time to donate? Any time is great, but ECOCA is eligible for The Bank of America’s Charitable Foundation’s matching pool! All donations made to eligible organizations via The Great Give 2024 from 8:00-9:00 p.m. on May 1 will receive bonus dollars, based on the number of unique donors. There are also specific times we can qualify for special prizes, so if you want your donation to go even farther, take a look HERE to see when donations do us the most good. Additionally, matching from the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven depends on the number of individual donors who support ECOCA—so even just sharing our Great Give link helps!
