STUDENT APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM

We are now accepting applications for our first ever Summer Apprenticeship Program, guided by visiting artist Destiny Palmer. Palmer, currently at Thayer Academy and formerly an Assistant Professor at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, is a painter whose work explores the intersections of painting, history, and color, blurring the lines of painting, sculpture, and installation.

We invite NHPS and Public Charter High School students to apply to our program. Apprentices will spend 3 paid weeks at ECOCA creating a large scale public mural.

BIOPLASTICS WORKSHOP

June 2, 1-4pm: Bioplastics Workshop with Janine Brown

Local CT artist Janine Brown will teach a one day introductory workshop on bioplastics. The recipes she uses can be made in the comfort of your own kitchen and are safe for the environment, using plant based materials. All materials are provided.

The workshop is free but you must sign up in advance. Only 5 spots lefts so register now.
