FALL 2024 EXHIBITIONS

Our exhibitions Forest Bathing, Mesoma Onyeagba, and Flatfile: Stump In Situ begin today, Sunday September 1, hours 12-5pm.

Join us for the opening reception on Sunday, September 8, 1-3pm. Free and open to all, light refreshments will be provided. DJ set by exhibiting artist Adrian Martinez Chavez.

Forest Bathing

Forest Bathing is a group exhibition curated by Alex Santana, selected from Ely Center’s 2024 Open Call.

Mesoma Onyeagba

A new MFA graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago presents her first solo exhibition. Mesoma’s work delighted New Haven audiences in the Embodied Knowledge 2023 Open Call exhibition.

Flatifle: Stump In Situ

After the City’s Tree Warden ordered five magnificent Sycamore trees on Trumbull Street to be cut due to disease, printmakers reclaimed the remaining stumps with eco-friendly woodcuts and public art. With Logan Bishop, Nathan Lewis, Enrique Figured, Jesse Peck and Maria Posada.

SUMMER APRENTICESHIP PROGRAM 2024

From July 8-26, 11 New Haven and area public high school students collaborated with artist Destiny Palmer and assistant Perla Mabel to create the mural Every Piece is Part of the Whole, as part of ECOCA's inaugural Summer Apprenticeship Program.
